A clinical assistance platform developed by Paratus Medical was delivered to the International Space Station on Saturday, 17 October 2026.

The system, created by the company founded by former emergency physician Frédéric Lemaire, is intended to support remote medical aid in emergencies occurring in remote or isolated locations. Alison Brunette of Paratus Medical confirmed the deployment aims to extend the platform’s capabilities beyond Earth.

By placing the technology aboard the ISS, the initiative seeks to demonstrate how space‑based resources can enhance emergency care for underserved regions on the ground.
