Montreal police investigators uncovered a large cache of stolen household tools hidden inside a residential home in a quiet neighbourhood of the city. The stash was connected to sales listings posted on Facebook Marketplace and Kijiji.
The investigation team, part of the Montreal City Police Service, is focused on locating and halting the resale of the stolen tools advertised through the online classified platforms, which have been used to market such items and prompted the police inquiry.
