The Quebec Transport Ministry announced that crews will repair a cracked beam on the Honoré‑Mercier Bridge over the weekend of October 17‑18, 2026. During the work, traffic will be limited to one lane in each direction.
The bridge, a major crossing into Montreal, will continue to operate with reduced capacity while the structural damage is addressed.
