Six teenagers fleeing police crashed a Communauto rental vehicle into a convenience store on the corner of De Courcelle Street in the Saint-Henri neighbourhood at about 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2026. Police had been called to a conflict at the same location that involved several individuals, including a person carrying a knife.
The rental car, driven by the teenagers, struck the store as they attempted to escape the police presence. The incident is now under investigation by Montreal police.
