St. James United Church in downtown Montreal is launching a fundraising campaign to cover multi‑million‑dollar maintenance and repair costs for its historic building.
The parish, which has served as a community and worship centre since the late 1880s, says rising expenses and the high cost of building upkeep have created a cash shortfall that the appeal aims to address.
