A few hundred students assembled in both Montreal and Quebec City on Saturday to protest the shortage of political parties they feel truly represent their interests, just two days before the province’s general election.
The demonstrators said the protest was meant to highlight the scarcity of suitable parties and the historically low voter turnout among young people in Quebec elections.
