The Orchestre symphonique de Montréal is set to present a temporary concert inside Place‑des‑Arts metro station on September 29, 2026, in collaboration with the Société de transport de Montréal. The event commemorates the 60th anniversary of Montreal’s metro system and marks the opening of the orchestra’s 2026–2027 season.
The performance will be installed in the station’s public space, converting the transit hub into a brief concert venue for commuters and visitors. It forms part of a broader programme of activities the city has organized to celebrate six decades since the metro first opened in 1966.
