An 18-year-old cyclist was killed in Montreal when a vehicle that was evading a police interception struck the rider on Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, at about 19:44 UTC.
The vehicle fled the Sûreté du Québec officers conducting the interception, resulting in the fatal collision. The Bureau des enquêtes indépendantes has opened an investigation into the incident.
