On October 13, 2026, Canada's Wonderland in Toronto and La Ronde in Montreal temporarily halted a total of three rides as a precaution after a rider died on a Six Flags coaster in the United States.

Canada's Wonderland suspended two of its attractions, while La Ronde closed one ride.

The parks said the closures were made out of an abundance of caution following the U.S. incident.
