The Quebec Ministry of Transport announced that tolls on Highway 30 westbound will be suspended from 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2026, to alleviate congestion caused by a lane closure on the Honoré‑Mercier bridge.
The toll waiver covers the westbound stretch toward Montreal, including the bridge, and was disclosed on Wednesday evening as a direct response to the closure.
