Montgomery County is constructing a dedicated resting place for unclaimed human remains in the county. The project is being led by the Montgomery County Coroner's Office to provide a dignified, permanent location for remains that have no known relatives or claimants.
This facility will be the first of its kind in Pennsylvania, as coroner offices in the state have not previously had a dedicated site for unclaimed remains.
