The Pennsylvania Senate approved a bill that bans the use of cell phones from the beginning to the end of the school day in every public and private school across the state.
The legislation follows the Pennsylvania House of Representatives' approval earlier in the week and will become law once Governor Josh Shapiro, who urged the legislature to act on the ban in his budget address, signs it.
