Philadelphia terminated its contract with jail medical services provider YesCare in May 2026.
The city made the move after YesCare declared bankruptcy and failed to make payroll for several weeks.
Prior to the financial problems, YesCare had been responsible for delivering medical care within Philadelphia's jails.
