All public schools in Philadelphia are now providing a free breakfast to students after the first bell each day, as announced by the School District of Philadelphia and school principals.
The district has shifted the timing of the meal from before‑school to after the start of classes to increase participation and help ensure students receive proper nourishment for classroom engagement.
