SEPTA Buys 24 Used Bombardier Comet Cars from Exo

SEPTA announced that it has purchased 24 used Bombardier Comet railcars from the Montreal transit agency Exo for a total of $8.58 million. The acquisition is intended to raise the carrying capacity of SEPTA’s Regional Rail service.

The purchase supports SEPTA’s ongoing plan to add additional train cars and expand capacity on its Regional Rail network.
