On Friday morning, police responded to reported threats at three Philadelphia schools, initiating lockdowns before evacuating students and staff.
The schools affected were the Masterman School on the 1600 block of Spring Garden Street, the School of the Future on the 4000 block of Parkside Avenue, and Benjamin Franklin High School on the 500 block of North Broad Street.
Police and school officials carried out the city’s standard lockdown procedures for educational facilities in response to the threats.
