The Mesa band reached Phoenix safely on Oct. 11, 2026 after departing Panama where a 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck. Their return trip was further complicated by stormy weather in Phoenix before they arrived.
The seismic event in Panama forced the group to begin a journey back to their home city, and the local storms presented an additional hazard during the travel, but the band completed the trip without incident.
