The City of Scottsdale announced Monday that it has started converting a well located near a Superfund site as part of a groundwater project aimed at strengthening the municipal drinking water supply.
The conversion is intended to increase groundwater capacity and improve long‑term resilience of the city’s water system.
The effort is part of Scottsdale’s broader strategy to address future water needs by enhancing overall water resilience.
