In 2026, the Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, opened an exhibit titled “Soulful Creatures – Animal Mummies in Ancient Egypt.” The show, created with the Brooklyn Museum, displays mummified birds, cats, dogs and snakes from ancient Egypt.
The exhibit is intended to bring ancient Egyptian artifacts to regional audiences.
