On October 7, 2026, a 12-year-old boy collapsed at the finish line of a cross‑country race in Mechanicville, New York. Two women on the scene began CPR, reviving the child.
After the emergency response, the boy was taken to Saratoga Hospital, where he was reported to be alert. He was later transferred to Albany Medical Center for additional care.
