The 37th annual youth baseball camp returns to West Side Recreation Park in Saratoga Springs, scheduled for July 13 through July 16, 2026. Coaches Lambert and Long will head the program, which is organized by the Spa City Bombers and targets local children seeking summer baseball training.
The four‑day camp will combine on‑field instruction with organized games, giving participants a chance to develop fundamental skills under the guidance of the two coaches. Instruction will focus on batting, fielding, pitching and base running, while the game sessions allow campers to apply what they have learned in a competitive setting.
Camp organizers have set aside July 20 and July 21 as rain‑out dates, ensuring that any weather‑related cancellations can be rescheduled without disrupting the overall program. Participants and parents have been advised to watch for updates should the need arise.
The event is intended to provide structured summer baseball training for local kids, offering an organized environment where young athletes can improve their abilities and enjoy the sport. By delivering both skill instruction and game experience, the camp aims to foster a love of baseball among the community’s youth.
The Spa City Bombers’ involvement underscores the camp’s connection to the broader baseball community in the area, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to youth development through sport.
