Druthers Brewing Company began a free trolley service this August, linking downtown Saratoga Springs with the Saratoga Race Course and Saratoga Lake. The service operates Thursday through Sunday from noon to 8 p.m., with extended hours on Friday and Saturday until 10 p.m.
The trolley is offered at no charge to both residents and visitors, providing an alternative to private vehicles for moving between key attractions in the city during the summer season.
By connecting the historic downtown area, the renowned Saratoga Race Course, and the scenic waterfront of Saratoga Lake, the route is intended to support tourism and local commerce while reducing traffic congestion.
The schedule runs from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday through Sunday, and on Friday and Saturday the service continues until 10 p.m., aligning with typical event times at the race course and lake activities.
Druthers Brewing Company noted that the trolley uses eco‑friendly vehicles, reflecting a broader push for sustainable transportation options in the region.
