On October 4, 2026, a Halloween-themed 5K run held at Saratoga State Park in Saratoga Springs generated $20,000 for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network.

The second annual Spook Out Cancer 5K, organized by Olivia Mannion, saw participants running in costumes and was intended to support cancer research and services.
