Bryce Terry, a member of Skidmore College’s hockey team, is spearheading the second annual Beyond the Summit Triathlon in North Conway, New Hampshire. The event, held on August 21, 2026, is organized to generate financial support for the oncology department at Memorial Hospital.
The triathlon consists of a one‑mile swim followed by a bike segment and a run, each covering the same distance. Terry is coordinating the effort together with four of his hockey teammates, forming a small organizing group that will manage the race logistics and fundraising activities.
Terry’s involvement ties back to his connections in Saratoga Springs, New York, where he maintains hometown ties. By bringing the event to nearby North Conway, the group aims to draw participants and spectators from both the local New Hampshire community and the Saratoga Springs area, extending the reach of their charitable goal.
All proceeds from the triathlon are directed to Memorial Hospital’s oncology department, with the objective of assisting local patients undergoing cancer treatment and increasing public awareness of the department’s needs.
