The Spa City Bombers wrapped up their 37th annual youth baseball camp on July 16 at West Side Recreation Park in Saratoga Springs. Coaches Lambert and Long led the four‑day program, delivering instruction and organized play for participating children.

The camp ran from July 13 through July 16, offering daily sessions that combined skill drills, game situations, and recreational activities. The schedule included backup dates on July 20 and July 21 in case of inclement weather, though the primary dates proceeded without interruption.

Over the four days, the coaches focused on fundamental baseball techniques such as throwing, catching, batting, and base running. Participants rotated through stations designed to reinforce each skill, allowing them to practice under the guidance of experienced mentors. The emphasis remained on teaching the basics while ensuring a fun atmosphere for all ages.

The Spa City Bombers organized the event as part of their ongoing commitment to youth sports in the community. By providing structured instruction and a safe environment for play, the camp aimed to foster a love of baseball among local children and help them develop confidence on the field.

Parents and guardians noted the camp’s convenient location at West Side Recreation Park, which offered ample space for drills and games. The four‑day format allowed families to plan attendance around typical summer schedules, while the rainout contingency dates demonstrated the organizers’ preparation for unpredictable weather.

As the camp concluded, coaches Lambert and Long thanked the participants for their enthusiasm and encouraged them to continue practicing the skills learned. The Spa City Bombers indicated that plans for next year’s camp are already underway, with the expectation of building on the success of this year’s program.
