The Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and Saratoga Performing Arts Center have started a $2 million project at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Spa State Park. The work replaces existing gas water heaters with electric units, upgrades backstage electrical systems and adds a new elevator.

The improvements are being carried out to modernize utility systems and enhance safety at the regional cultural venue.
