The New York State Thruway Authority announced on Oct. 12, 2026 that the base toll rate per mile on the New York State Thruway will increase from 4.5 cents to 4.9 cents, effective Jan. 2027.
The change is an adjustment of toll pricing and will affect all drivers, including those using E‑ZPass, who will see the new rate applied to their tolls.
