A Seattle social housing developer announced plans to construct roughly 20 homes on a site in the city’s Central District, with work slated for 2028. The land slated for development was previously owned by longtime state lawmaker Frank Chopp.
This project marks the developer’s first construction venture within the Central District, expanding its portfolio of affordable housing initiatives.
The proposed homes will add to the housing stock in the neighborhood, aligning with broader efforts to increase residential options in Seattle.
