HPAC held its final 2026 meeting on October 28 in West Seattle to review a proposed West Seattle Bike Park and to address concerns about a satellite encampment at Glassyard Commons. Attendees included Kay Kirkpatrick, Barb Biondo, Grant, the Highland Park, Riverview, and South Delridge Community Coalition, and representatives from the West Seattle Bike Park organization.
The coalition, which represents the Highland Park, Riverview and South Delridge neighborhoods, used the session to evaluate the bike park proposal and discuss the community’s concerns regarding the encampment.
The meeting marked the last scheduled gathering for HPAC in 2026, focusing on both the recreational project and the local encampment issue.
