West Seattle Indivisible and King County Elections are organizing a community gathering called “Bop to the Box” on Sunday, October 25, at the West Seattle Junction ballot drop box to encourage voters to drop off mail‑in ballots.
The West Seattle Junction location is the fourth busiest drop box in Seattle, and only 16.5% of City Council District 1 voters have returned their ballots, with ten days left before the mail‑in ballot deadline.
The event is intended to motivate residents to complete and submit their ballots before the upcoming deadline as the city approaches the final submission period.
