Elections Ontario told the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal on Oct. 29 that it is implementing measures to accommodate voters with disabilities while preserving the secrecy and security of ballots.
The agency said the steps are intended to meet human‑rights standards for accessible voting in provincial elections, and lawyers representing Elections Ontario were present at the hearing.
