A 30‑foot mosaic created from 4,784 handwritten sticky notes was installed at Toronto’s Union Station on 24 October 2026. The display marked the launch of the National Poppy Campaign and paid tribute to Allan “Scotty” Davidson, a Canadian hockey player who died in the First World War.
The public‑contributed notes formed a large‑scale artwork that honors the fallen soldier and signals the start of the annual Canadian remembrance effort, which begins each year with events recognizing those who served in wars.
