Amazon announced it has withdrawn its application to build a data center in Loudoun County, Virginia.
The company will now work with the county to redevelop the former George Washington University Science and Technology campus into a mixed‑use development.
This change follows an earlier attempt by Amazon to secure approval for a large data‑center project in the county, which it has now abandoned.
