University of Maryland campus police questioned two student journalists on the College Park campus after they approached football players for reactions to the coach’s announced departure.
The reporters were seeking comments from the players following the coach’s decision to leave, which led to police involvement.
The coach’s announcement earlier this month prompted the student journalists’ attempts to gather player responses, resulting in the police call.
