Cape May‑Lewes Ferry announced a $7 surcharge for vehicle passengers, taking effect on Oct. 8, 2026 and remaining in place through Dec. 31. The charge is being imposed because of volatility in the fuel market and higher operating costs.
The additional fee will affect travelers heading to Wildwood and Cape May during the fall season.
