The contest is structured as a donation‑based vote, with each ballot requiring a contribution that will go directly to the zoo’s fundraising efforts. Organizers said the initiative is intended to involve the local community in the animal’s early life while also generating needed support for zoo programs. All three name options were chosen by zoo staff based on the foal’s characteristics and the themes of strength, nature, and heritage.
