Halloween falls on Saturday, October 31, 2027, giving families a weekend date for trick‑or‑treating and related celebrations.
The alignment occurs because the Gregorian calendar advances the day of the week by one each year, or two after a leap year. In 2027, the shift places October 31 on a Saturday.
This calendar curiosity helps parents, schools and community groups plan events, as a Saturday holiday often allows for larger gatherings and easier scheduling.
