Construction crews are building nearly 300 feet of new boardwalk along with a covered pavilion in Ortley Beach, North Wildwood, New Jersey. Work on the project was underway as of Oct. 8, 2026.
The addition replaces shoreline lost after Hurricane Sandy and is intended to improve access to the beach.
The extension is expected to enhance the boardwalk experience for both residents and tourists.
