Nearly 300 feet of boardwalk and a pavilion are being added at the former Joey Harrison’s Surf Club site in Ortley Beach, New Jersey, as of Oct. 8, 2026.
The new construction replaces the nightclub that was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy and is intended to boost tourism.
This project marks the first major boardwalk addition since Superstorm Sandy, enhancing the shoreline for visitors.
