The Manitoba Progressive Conservative Party announced that the legislative session will be shortened by one week, removing four scheduled sitting days.
The move, decided at the Manitoba Legislature in Winnipeg on Oct. 21, follows the party’s statement that the New Democratic Party government has run out of new business, making additional days unnecessary.
The NDP government had exhausted its legislative agenda, leading the opposition to agree to the abbreviated schedule.
