The Decatur City Commission will meet on Oct. 5, 2026 to discuss and possibly vote on hiring a private firm to operate the city’s Task Force on Homelessness.
The municipal task force, created to address homelessness in Decatur, is being examined for private management as part of the city’s ongoing efforts to tackle the issue.
