DeKalb County issued a permit on September 28, 2026 allowing Aramar Investments to redevelop the former Presidential Hotel tower into residential apartments. The approval covers a $53.3 million project that will create 282 housing units.
The 14‑story former hotel has remained empty for years, and the approved plan will convert the vacant building into the new apartments.
