The annual Light the Night walk is scheduled for Oct. 3 at 5:30 p.m. in Piedmont Park, Atlanta, organized by the event’s planners together with survivors, families and health‑care leaders. The walk will honor blood‑cancer journeys and raise funds for research, serving as the closing event for Blood Cancer Awareness Month.
Blood Cancer Awareness Month is observed each September, and the Light the Night walk has become a yearly community event in Atlanta.
