On October 21, 2026, a man in Buford, Georgia, shot and killed one of four suspects who had followed him from a night out in Atlanta to rob him at his home. The confrontation also left another suspect injured and unable to walk.
A Gwinnett County police detective said the four suspects pursued the victim to his residence. The victim wrestled a revolver from one suspect and fired, killing that suspect. A second suspect was hurt in the struggle and could not walk away.
