MARTA to Begin Construction on Southside Bus Rapid Transit Line
MARTA will start building a new bus rapid transit line on Cleveland Avenue/Metropolitan Parkway for the Southside/East Point area. The line is part of a broader rapid bus expansion across Atlanta.

MARTA announced that construction will soon begin on the Cleveland Avenue/Metropolitan Parkway Arterial Rapid Transit line, a bus rapid transit project serving Atlanta’s Southside/East Point corridor.
The project is one of several rapid bus lines the agency is planning as part of a citywide transit expansion effort.
