On October 5, 2026, thousands of runners gathered for the Mayor’s 5K on the 5th Runway in Atlanta, Georgia, to showcase the city’s youth scholarship program.
The annual race, organized by the city, provides a community platform to promote the scholarship initiative, and included participation by Atlanta student Jay’Elle Brown.
Covering a distance of five kilometers, the event was designed to demonstrate the impact of the youth scholarship program.
