Two people died after a head‑on collision on Georgia Highway 17 in Franklin County when a southbound vehicle entered the northbound lane, Georgia State Troopers said.
The crash involved a green 2013 Ford Escape and a red 2021 Mazda 3 traveling on the two‑lane highway. One of the victims was identified as a 19‑year‑old.
