The Boston city spokesperson announced that funding for the teen employment program at East Boston Social Centers has been ended following a change in the city’s youth employment funding strategy.
The city's SuccessLink program had supported roughly nine teen positions at the center during the previous school year, but those jobs will no longer receive city funds under the new approach.
