A juvenile driver traveling south in the northbound lanes of Route 1 near Sargent Street in Revere was killed after a head‑on collision with oncoming traffic shortly after 3 a.m. on October 25, 2026.
Massachusetts State Police responded to several 911 calls reporting a wrong‑way vehicle on the busy highway. The Revere Police Department and Saugus Police Department also took part in the response.
