The annual Arts in the Dark Halloween parade was held on Balbo Street in Chicago on Oct. 22, drawing approximately 100,000 spectators. Marking its 12th edition, the event featured a 60‑foot glow worm sculpture among a range of illuminated art installations.
Organizers said the parade’s purpose is to showcase artists from every discipline and from each Chicago ward. The celebration is a yearly Halloween tradition that highlights large, light‑filled artworks and routinely attracts tens of thousands of attendees.
